The media is helping to spread the message by telling us we need to prepare on election night we won’t have a clear winner. At 47 the last time that happened was 2000 with Gore and Bush and that dreadful decision by the Supreme Court lead American down the current dark path we’re in today. If Gore had won we may see a completely different and better planet and America through better leadership. It’s likely Russia will attack the election. Obama prepared for a cyber attack on election day. I’m pretty sure Trump hasn’t, and Putin knows it.
In 2012, Trump said Obama would start a war with Iran to get re-elected. Apparently, Trump thinks that could work. It wouldn’t surprise me if he did that.
Turnout favors Democrats. Trump knows that. 50% of voters say they wouldn’t vote for him under ANY circumstances. He’s never reached across the aisle, and never had a day with over 50% approval. He considers everyone who didn’t vote for him an enemy. He HAS to cheat to win, and he’s given every reason to think he will.

First, they’d have to know intimate knowledge like social security and/or driver’s license details, then they’d have to know their signature well enough to forge. The fact is it is very difficult to cheat on mail-in ballots.

@Dan Chanquin pandemic, trump hamstringing the postal service, and the republicans refusing to pass the money for security of this year’s elections are the main reason for those incidents. You can also include Florida, Georgia, and Alabama in the list of this year’s fiasco.
@Dan Chanquin New York Primary issues had to do with avoidable problems like the USPS inadvertently not putting postage on a large proportion of envelopes, ridiculously stringent rules for ballot rejections like small tears on the envelopes, a piece of tape on envelopes, overly stringent signature-matching rules like an inadvertent mark that may or may not be a hyphen. They also do not have a ‘cure’ period for voters to fix issues. They were sorely understaffed (fixable).
They have consultants from Colorado (successful ‘model’ vote by mail State) reviewing and advising for the Nov election. Early ballot submissions and early mail in ballot preparation (not tally, just opening, signature verification, ‘curing’ scanning, flattening for tallying) will be necessary for such a large population.
