How would it help the Democrats to “hide” the fact the Constitution provides for vote counts to continue to Dec. 14th? That makes no sense whatsoever. The Constitution provides for the actual counting of the ballots to continue up to Dec. 14th. It sometimes takes a while to count all those ballots.

No, that is NOT all you can do, because Trump and Co are engaged in voter suppression all over the country. The Michigan (Republican) Supreme Court just upheld that it’s okay for armed militia to “guard” polling places in Michigan. It doesn’t take a genius to see it is voter intimidation plain and simple. What we can do is make a lot of noise and point to these obvious tactics by the GOP to try and steal an election. If you don’t care enough about your vote, then by all means pretend none of this corruption is happening, but this could very well be the last election we ever have if Trump wins.

According to federal election law, states have up to 38 days after the election to count all of the ballots. Some states count the mail in ballots has they received them, others start counting them a week before the election and the rest, which are only a few, start counting the ballots on election day. A new president does not have to be announced on election night but up to 38 days after the election.
