Reminds me of the Halifax Explosion.
@PhotoGeorge Pepcon in Nevada, the largest of the explosions there was estimated to be about 1KT, this explosion looked much bigger. i’m guessing it’ll be around 2.5 -3 KT.
@PhotoGeorge Actually, i’ve read somewhere they said it was close to 2.7 kiloton worth in beirut
@Ty Mcfadden You are right, it was 2.7 kilotons
@Captain Gen just saw a report that says seismic readings were in the 3.3 magnitude range, that is at least equal to the pepcon blast.
@Ty Mcfadden Wow that’s crazy dude.
Another Tianjin, time to change how dangerous chemicals should be stored!
It looks worse than Tianjing…
lol.. dont store chemicals dangerously.. we know how to store chemicals.. 3rd world countries just dont care.. and they suffer the consequences.
@wantafanta01 that’s exactly true
Far worse than Tianjin, probably even worse than the Galveston Bay explosion.
Another Halifax.
You never store any type of explosive component anywhere near to even a small village never mind a major city. The same as a munitions dump you put them miles from the nearest building.
Stored in a depression in case of explosion it goes up not out.
It boggles the normal human mind, when the idiots running governments and businesses would allow such large, active, unstable amount of energy to be stored in the center of a major city. Never in my life — outside of well staged big budget movies and testing videos of giant controlled nuclear explosions —- that I’ve seen an explosion like this in the center of a major city which caused cars, trucks, buildings, & other structures flying everywhere like they’re toys & children’s play houses.
2020 never takes breaks i swear
no, evil creatures are restless till their deaths.
Shut up with your 2020…I’m sick of it…were all so sorry your year is so tough ok
@Master Samurai ?
2020 need to chill i seriously hope eveyone is okah
We heard the explosion from our village!! And enormous orange clouds began to make it’s way above our village on the mountain.
@YT abouyassin Are you ok🙏
hope you guys r safe
@MR AFK yeah thanks for asking.
2020 needs to chill ??? WTF are you talking about even ???? How can a year chill ???? SMFH
Amazingly ignorant civic government to allow a large chemical storage in an urban area! I’m happy to be an Albertan!
Amazingly stupid comment, professor.
A port is not an urban area.
Way to make all Albertans look like morons….
@Ryan Rocheleau what? almost ALL major ports are in urban areas.
@Ty Mcfadden They are outside of the population dense areas, usually on the outskirts. For context, the refinery complexes in Edmonton are situated outside of the residential and commercial areas, for obvious reasons. Using this guys logic and phrasing, our civic governments would be ignorant for building them there.
Everyone blaming 2020.
2020 “what did i do?”
Its like small child after messing the whole house and says what did i do??
Baby Nuke
Just like those ones in Fallout 3
Fire cracker factory…chemical storage facility…what about a tactical nuke‼
Steele no radiation detected.fact
Tactical nukes don’t come that small.
Oh yes, the town’s nuke blew up. I hate it when that happens
was there really no where else to store explosives?… i mean there’s a desert not but 20 miles to the East that is very sparse.
yeah, how crazy is to store confiscated weapons in he port. This does not make sense
What about building 7.
This is so sad! I feel desperately devastated for all the folks involved! Prayers for Beirut!
Jenny Davis thank you for praying! I hope we can survive. 😢
That was a hit
I didn’t know The Lebanese are so into “fireworks”
SURE FIREWORKS , LOOKS MORE LIKE A ILLEGAL STORAGE FOR BOMB MATERIAL .
..if it had happened over here, they’d be cheering and handing out candy to kids…if they have any economic problems, they’ve created them.
Over 70 Dead and way over 300 injured… More searches on going…
Gods JUDGMENT
THERES IS NO EVIDANCE in yet and the news is calling it a civilian accident, beware Lebanon the fix is in
Planet Earth 2020: Just one disaster after another.
Chemicals my foot. Note that the explosions happened at several locations within a short time frame. Those were ammo dumps set off by saboteurs. Go ask Mossad.
Anmo doesnt make this big of an explosion though
