Trudeau didn’t take this seriously until Sophie came home. The response has been all reaction, no proactive on Trudeau’s part. April 5/6/7 I agree are critical dates. I am prepared.
When 4 million Canadians work for the government and are paid by taxpayers, of course they are pleased, they will suffer zero pay cut.
My wife teaches in a private school for the last 13 years. She spent two and a half years in post graduate studies before she got her job. She makes 40% the salary of a public school teacher and does not have any of the perks (ie health care benefits). She is at school from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm with a 30 minute break to eat something. (She often has parent meetings after 5:30 pm, as conflicts are handled the same day as they occur!). She will spend between 3-4 hours a night in preparing and writing reports for the parents and school directors.
Don’t tell me my wife’s happy, or any other private teacher.
