Jamaica is out of control when it comes to crime. I would never live back there only because of this issue of crime. Something needs to be done. SMDH

Please don’t blame Mr Chung and Mr Anderson, don’t used them as a scapegoat, the police force is not as effective as earlier years. I have a recent experience with the St Mary, police. Led by Ms Morgon, I retired from government service after 38 years, I have a property close to Highgate, there are some unruly men always hangoff arround and in front the property, their behavour is very noisey, they commit trespassing regular, when they hear music they hit the fencing causes minor damaged, I see them as a nuisance, we visited the Richmond police station on several occasions to get their assistance to warned these guys, for over two years, we never able to get to get assistance from them, the is about four minuits walk from the station. At that station is like the blind leading the blind. They see nothing, they hear nothing and they do nothing at that station.Visited Tower Isle, St Mary, area 2 office to talk to ACP Calvin Allen, on four occasions, to make a complaint about poor service, after Sgt Bell who incharge of the general told him I am hear he refused to speak to me, four different times I visit.
I would be thankful if we see improvement in the service offer, the police say, they Serve, they Reassure and they Protect. This station Richmond. Use to have detectives for several decades, today no detective attached to that station that why my complaints not dealt with efficiently, the young constables is not the problem, is the senior ones, disrespectful, some of them refused to give receipt when asked, call the station for assistance, call back a senior constable answer the phone, I said to him I don’t see the police visit the location, he replied, they checked on the assignment, that is a lied no one came I ask for diary entry # and the constable slam down the phone.
