Even if they break the law ? Come on
Actually, when you block roads and trains it is criminal and should be treated as such.
Maybe criminal activity should not be used to protest!
Then speeding up if they r in your way should not be criminalized
Kindness and respect doesn’t look like “shutting down Canada”
Rule of law is not invading another sovereign nation.
Go protest in bc go stand out in the bush where the pipeline is dont hold all Canadains hostsge with illegal blockades
Then don’t invade another sovereign nation, and don’t disrespect another nation’s laws.
Blocking roads is a crime. Period.
I appreciate Evan actually citing how much support the pipeline actually has. Too little mainstream is doing that. If this little disagreement can keep First Nations from being able to represent themselves, I question if they actually need a national chief.
They don’t transport there illegal cigarettes on trains or there would be no blockades on the railroad tracks
You either run your country, or you let someone else take it over.
It’s that simple.
Might makes right.
I have officially lost confidence in all parties responsible for fixing this.
Blockades are an act of war under international law, using violence {blockades} especially against civilians {all Canadians} in the pursuit of political aims. {they dont like the outcome in BC} is defined as — dink dink dink TERRORISM!!!
Criminal acts should be prosecuted.
So all Canadians should block all roads to protest the protest then.
That’s a really disingenuous statement. I think we should always make attempts to resolve problems like this in a civil way, but there is also authority to enforce the law in this instance.
We cannot continue to simply give concessions to First Nations. At some point they need to understand that we live in 2020 and these blockades won’t actually make an improvement for Canada.
How about one law for everyone and enforced equally on everyone.
Seth Lefort, leader of rail blockade outside of Belleville. Arrested by the Six Nations Band police. Called a drug dealer by the Chief of the Six Nations. Zero credibility, and this is who the Minister went to meet, and the OPP refuse to arrest. Perfect trifecta of zero credibility.
Liberals have no respect for anything but Communism.
which anti-pipeline fund is paying you Perry? throw the protesters in jail
who else would be allowed to do this without consequences
