@Zaynab bint Al-Harith England does not jail people for saying mean things. Great Britain does. And not for saying mean things but people are arrested and charged, and prosecuted for making statements designed to increase hate between individuals or groups of individuals. This situation is better than, for instance having communities becoming increasingly violent towards each other. Sort of being better, doing better. My main issue is with your use of England, we are ( still maybe ) a United Kingdom., so I presume those statements are made with an extensive personal experience of the nations mentioned by yourself.
