BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE twin-island Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis last night (Apr. 6) recorded its sixth homicide for the year with the shooting death of popular disc jockey Jamie Williams.
Williams, the son of Commissioner of Police Austin Williams and Laura Williams of Bay View Gardens, was shot multiple times to the body while in an abandoned yard in Buckley’s Estate shortly after 9:00 p.m.
According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) with responsibility for Crime, Ian Queeley, at approximately 9:20 p.m., police received reports of a shooting in Buckley’s Estate and officers from various departments immediately responded.
