There’s no doubt that there’s racism in our institutions and it does need to be addressed. But the Chief arrest is an obvious highlight of how our news sources have been skewing information to push a narrative. He antagonized that officer who was very professional. He had to call for assistance, and it could have just been peaceful. That’s not on the officer. The second officer was a bit pumped though and probably should have toned it wayyy down. I don’t think he was on scene long enough to call his actions racists though. You could hear his car approach and he was there to backup. And he came in hard and fast.
Yes we need to address racism in our institutions, but we have to stick to non biased reporting. Dishonesty in garnering public support is a HUGE part of the problem

Make them accountable for their actions. No internal discipline for cops who commit crimes. When they are charged they deserves the same treatment as a citizen as they are not above the law. Cops are here to punish and enslave not serve and protect.
