Eva Murray we needed some leadership. There was a report back from 2008 written by doctor Tan, that predicted exactly what is happening now.
@Brian J I know she’s a doctor. What guarantee would you have that anything would have been different? Maybe if she had been elected again, she might have been able to play a role.
Eva Murray first off, she was removed from the liberal party by Justin Trudeau. Second, she was replaced in this cabinet by Patty Hadju who lacks the technical expertise to effective plan ahead and steer the government in this position.
3 weeks ago, Trudeau came out and said that he didn’t want to take any knee-jerk reactions.

Canadian health authorities must discredit the corrupted WHO or risk losing their own credibility.

Bravo Dr. Philpott. However, as a recent active politician, you should recognize that this government is NOT doing the right things now and for the future of this country. The virus spread and our economy would be in much better shape if we would have stopped flights coming from countries of contamination long ago and also stopping ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION TO STILL WALK IN THIS COUNTRY. But you were strong in encouraging the legalization of cannabis. Bravo Dr. Philpott…
The current government is doing a valiant job, especially when compared to Europe and south of the border. Easy to criticize from your couch.
Eva…I spend very little time on the couch…and smart enough to know that we would have a fraction of the cases we have now if our lacking judgment government would have stopped foreigners to come in much earlier, especially with little or no control of this virus at Canadian airports. Preventing is way smarter than reacting! But Trudeau loves this exposure it gives him. And so do his little sheeps…
