I got the pfizer shot. Then the top doc in charge decided tohold off on all secondary vaccinations for four months instead of just one. We will see how this goes.

The overseeing provincial dr Dr Bonnie Henry got it into her head that because some small study was done somewhere in the world showing a small possibility that the vaccine could be effective for a lot longer once the first shot was given she decided to jump on the bandwagon. I’m feeling so grateful and happy about the future! Be aware of the crazies who would secretly take the vaccine but publicly tell you not to take it. @Roxane Reddy Alot of the research was already done in response to previous coronavirus outbreaks SARS Cov1 and MERS. Coronavirus was anticipated as a pandemic source and indeed SARS Cov2 is most probably an evolved variant of SARS-Cov1. They are over 75% genetically similar.

What will be an issue is the very low temperature and short shelf life. Pretty much excludes it’s use outside of ‘advanced’ countries.
I think that ordinary common dry ice can be used for low temperature storage.
