Montego Bay, Jamaica, W.I. (July 20, 2014) The Caribbean Export Development Agency with funding support from the Caribbean Development Bank under the CARTFUND Facility, announces the start of the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage starting July, 2014.
This project which was conceptualized by PBHC School Inc., Barbados and the Barbados Coalition of service Industries Inc. is part of the vision of the CARTFund Health & Wellness Project that seeks to equip countries within CARIFORUM with the competencies and standards to create products of excellence in the wellness sector.
Successful candidates will be certified as Level 3 Massage Therapists from the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC), the international certification body for massage therapists.
“This programme has been anticipated since 2009 in Jamaica and is a significant contribution in our ongoing wellness development” added Sharon Parris- Chambers, Health & Wellness consultant and former Executive Director for Caribbean Resort & Spa Association.
She informed that the course will be tutored by Mrs. Patricia Berry-Greenidge who has attained the highest marks in the region with the quality of her training.
