@Sylvia Johnson For most of his actions to date he should have checked with the Canadian population first. The process is called a referendum. I am hoping for a non-confidence vote. Whoever might replace him would be mad not to take the lesson of his failure to recognize public opinion and expectations.
Harry said he wants freedom from public funding and a more peaceful life, so this is a start to get a more peaceful life – no taxes for GoFundMillionaires.
Are we all being played for fools and something will be orchestrated so they will demand they get “security” funding (our tax money) back, something like the mystery around the Lindberg baby perhaps. The security bill was getting outrageous, last I heard 120 million! Seemed more like blackmail. I won’t believe this is about them having a “peaceful” life until we don’t hear from them for 10 years at least! Canada is being used like a bus stop to the USA.

I want a full refund for all security provided to date.
Tell that to the British government. If the British taxpayer do not want to pay for the security of the son of the next King who is still in line to the throne, then they should vote for a republic and abolish the entire Monarchy. The British need to maake up their minds. Right now if something happens to Harry or Diana’s grandchild, then the Monarchy will get the global backlash as well as the British government.

Canada should NOT use our taxes to pay for their security. Any moneys should be returned. What was spent so far ?? Whatever spent should be deducted from Trudeaus wage ….
What would have been spent so far would be $30 million divided by 12 to get the monthly figure.

Their private citizens now. What other private citizens who also have millions upon millions of dollars at their disposal ask countries to pay for their security when they visit. None. No one does.
