If OSHA started issuing citations it would have to give one to the White House, where no one used masks until they started to keel over. Even there the one who died was the black guy.

@Don In addition Meat packing plants and other mfg’s didn’t initiate Safety measures and PPE TO keep people safe. There has been a huge consolidation in meatpackers so the same companies around the country are being called out with large covid infections.
I would think best practices would be shared within a corp or even better thru the industry to keep people safe.
Over 50% of counties in the USA have zero ICU BEDS. SOME DON’T HAVE HOSPITALS
Rural community are at risk when covid comes to town because there are less resources.

I wish employers had a photo of employees in the windows of workers that have died posted. One to honor the lost and let people know what happened to them. I am missing people at the grocery and i am worried that they are ok.
It’s a good idea. But only if they wanted positive change. To keep the status quo they need those facts to be “fuzzy”. It’s always something happening to other people, in other communities, in other businesses, in other families, to other people’s friends. That makes people feel safer and less inclined to rock the boat.
In order to get most people to work together, they have to see the problem as immediate, as Affecting themselves and the people around them, and as something that can be changed.
M4A is an example of this, with all of its opponents saying that there is no way, it would take trillions of dollars, it would bankrupt the country. Really? The most powerful country in the world would go under financially if every citizen was able to visit a doctor?
And now that Congress HAS given trillions of dollars away- to Wall Street, banks and big business, that means there Always WAS the money available for everyone to have healthcare. Congress just didn’t choose to use it in that way. Instead, to keep people from protesting or demanding healthcare they told us it was ” impossible.”

I have never purchased anything from Amazon, and I never will. It is literally the embodiment of the dark side of capitalism and everything that is wrong with it, everyone continues to support a man and a company that mistreats workers, refuses to protect them, makes billions and pays no taxes, and then asks you for donations during an economic shutdown. I’m too lazy to go to a brick and mortar store but I am going to protest during a global pandemic, that I don’t have the right to go to a brick and mortar store… then I’m gonna go home, sit on my couch, Crack a beer, watch some Amazon prime and order another DVD collection and pat myself on the back for fighting for my freedoms and the economy. *smh*
