The Ontario government is looking to pass legislation that will automatically recognize the credentials of out-of-province health-care workers as it deals with a major shortage of staff.
Called the "As of Right" rules, the legislation will allow health workers from other provinces and territories to immediately start working, without having to register with one of Ontario's health regulatory colleges.
The government will introduce the legislation in February. If passed, the new rule will be the first of its kind in Canada.

Ford could get mangled in a car wreck by a Mack truck and it would make me almost as happy as I would be if it happened to Chrystia Freeland
I fail to understand why he won’t hire back everyone he fired. No it’s not going to solve the problem. It would definitely help!
Throw this criminal in jail
Between Ford trying to privatize Healthcare in Ontario, and his plans to level the natural Greenbelt land outside Toronto to put in a highway, he is toast. And deservedly so.
Ford looks a bit of a lobster colour! 😂 Extremely sun 🌞 burnt🥵.
Gitmo for Doug.
How about a healthcare worker from Ontario who was unjustly forced out of their job by refusing to get the Fauci juice? I like how everything is on the table except for that
Shame on the unvaccinated nurses who, despite being well educated, are following the misinformation and disinformation regarding the COVID-19 vaccines. They should find another profession. Shame on you for defending their position and even worse, for your claim that they are being discriminated against. Those unvaccinated nurses should have been assigned to work with COVID-19 patients.
Why would nurses come to Ontario for worse pay?

We need Doctors and our treasured Nurses in Newfoundland!
Other provinces and territories need their nurses and doctors. There is a shortage everywhere in Canada. Shame on you for trying to make things better in Ontario at the expense of other provinces.
Robbing Peter to pay Paul – that is some critical thinking.
just shut down the hospitals and open up a few cheese cake factories
Imagine showing up every day to work that hungover.
