That’s terrible!
👍
So sad who can we trust with our kids these days
School’s are not a daycare
@Jose Castellanos yet liable non the less.
@Jose Castellanos that the dumbest statement on the internet today . Congrats 👏
I’ve been trying to voice my concern over the BLM reading material my grade 2 daughter is getting via her google classroom. Her teachers are trying to ignore me
What are your concerns?
Welcome to the Ontario public education system.
Whomever was on duty during the break should be liable..I’m glad he’s safe..they always make changes after the fact..instead of watching for that kind of an incident ahead of time
Teacher would not admit in more ways than one
Losing a child is bad enough, not realizing you’ve lost a child for that long is criminal.
Unbelievable! Teachers have zero training in supervision. I have witnessed teachers standing together chatting not paying any attention to the 50 kids in the yard.
No charges!!! That’s outrageous!!
😲
I feel like there’s a lot of missing details. Honestly, no teacher will actively miss a child. I remember back when I was a kid in the 90’s going to my friends place at lunch who was allowed to go home at lunch and my parents were called.
id be waiting for that teacher in the parkinglot if that was my child
I use to sneak off with my friends during recess and come back at the end of lunch. Sometimes no one would notice. Couple times I got in trouble. I was 7- 8 years old. Teachers have too many students to be held accountable. Kid obviously wandered off where he shouldn’t of been. Parents need to accept responsibility too
Let’s get the full story 😆
“We accounted for all children
Wow the school needs to take accountability… who would want to trust any school with their 5 year old after such negligence… mine is going next year … now I’m worried. Disgusting ! Shame on the school board and their outdated policies and lack of proper screening with employees. 🥺wow !!!
Someone has no business being accountable for their students, despite school policies and training
It’s like this with every ministry, no accountability deflect responsibility and legislate criminal protections.
This family is actually lucky/blessed that a person who brought the son home, didn’t kidnap him!!!
Definitely more to the story no one looses a child. The parents run to the need ? Why
