Hold on, I have to point something out. You can’t say there are more cat 5 hurricanes in the 20th and 21st Century than in the 19th Century because of climate change. I believe in climate change, I believe that statement is true, but you can’t really say that. Doppler and satellites just didn’t exist in the 19th Century, so we really don’t know how many cat 5 storms there were. From a scientific stand point, it doesn’t make sense to compare.
The sheer density of a place like Orlando, the community, the tourism, the businesses. I was there in May at Disney for 6 days. I couldn’t fathom the idea of a Cat 5 hurricane there. So many people would die. The hotels top levels would be the only place to escape the high water
