    1. @TorkGirl8 She did that crap to me in the early 70s and gave all my toys to her baby sitter. I had a nice set of 1960s walkie talkies that she gave away. my grandmother gave them to me as a gift.

  1. May she rest in peace. She fought a long fight. She will always have that angelic voice and can sing along with them now. 💕

    1. @evilmage69 That account has posted the same message as replies to multiple comments, and someone said it’s a bot, so I just report it as spam when I see it.

  2. What a talented beautiful soul, such a sad loss. As a radio dj at an Easy-Listening station in the early ’90s, I loved playing the two Olivia Newton-John songs in the playlist- the gorgeous gem “Magic” and “Have You Never Been Mellow”. Rest in Peace, Olivia.

    1. @Sal A lot of “mellow” artists like James Taylor, Celine Dion, and the softer sides of rock groups like the Beatles, Eagles, etc. I loved that the playlist varied so much in that they even would occasionally include a Sinatra or Tony Bennet song, then follow it with a pop hit on the charts at the time (the 1990s). But in today’s narrow programming, that type of station is a relic of the past.

  3. Great tribute. She definitely made her mark on the world, and her legacy will live on as we replay her hits in music and movies. RIP Olivia!

      LUKE 16:19-31.
      JOHN 5:24-29.
      JOHN 14:1-6.
      THANK YOU 😇

  4. She was such a treasure. Beautiful person with a beautiful voice. RIP sweet Olivia.

  5. Such a beautiful woman, Australia’s national treasure. Her songs form part of my childhood. Great memories from great songs she bequeathed to the music industry. RIP.

  6. Rest in peace, a beautiful talented woman, with a great legacy. My condolences to her daughter and family. Heaven has a musical angel.

  7. I was a Sophomore in High School when Grease came out. Like most teenage boys, I had a crush on Olivia Newton John. She had such a beautiful voice and a beautiful presence. Most of the people I grew up listening to have died. Michael Jackson, Prince, Teena Marie, Rick James, Al Jarreau Tom Petty, Maurice White the founder of Earth Wind and Fire, 2 of the 3 Bee Gees are dead, Andy Gibb, Grover Washington Jr., Kenny Rogers and Eddie Van Halen.

  8. We’re hopelessly grateful to you Olivia for being, without a doubt, one of the most fantastic, beautiful, amazing stars of all time. Rest in Peace Olivia Newton-John. Thank you.

    1. I removed an evil comment , it had no room , specially
Given that Olivia was such a beautiful person , thank you for all.

  9. Celebrities pass, and we are sad, but this one actually brought tears. Such a lovely person and angelic voice. She was relevant in the industry for 50 years. That in and of itself is remarkable. A rare crossover artist who could do it all. There will never be another one like her. Never.

    1. Agreed JM. I think in the last 50 years, only Aretha comes very close to ONJ among World renowned Female Pop Music Stars can crossover to multi music genres and had dozens of International smash hits. RIP Olivia.

    2. @Xane Dragon You are no doubt are a Karen Carpenter fan who is also great.
I like her a lot too. However sorry to disappoint you but Karen only had a terrific career as a Pop Star for 8-10 years before her life was tragically cut short.

On the other hand, other legendary Pop Stars of the past 50 years from Aretha, Whitney, Celine, Mariah, Streisand and ONJ, (mentioned those Ladies whom all started in the late 20th Century and not more recent Pop Stars such as Taylor and Rihanna ) all had lengthy careers of 20 years or more. It’s ok and even cool Dragon if your all time favorite Female Pop Star is Karen Carpenter. With that said honestly IMO she can’t be in the GOAT discussion because of how brief her career, it was.

    3. Karen Carpenter was not a cross-over artist. Olivia had number one hits on multiple charts… country, billboard, adult contemporary. She sold over 100 million albums. She reinvented herself at least 3 different times in her career. All successfully. She was a model, actress, singer, and international superstar. Her career spanned 50+ years across 6 decades. I think the only ones you could legitimately compare her to would be Franklin, Cher, and Streisand. For me, even among that select company, she shines. I stand by my statement….there will never be another one like her. I am saddened beyond words.

    4. @J M You correct. Olivia was indeed one of the great Female crossover Global Entertainers of all time. Karen was a great Pop Music Star but only stayed in the music business and only had about a 10 year professional career but her tragic premature death.

Newton-John is along the lines of other GOATS aka greats of say Aretha, Cher, Barbara and can I add both Whitney and Diana Ross as well. No doubt admit it, KM is your all time favorite females singer is Olivia in which you probably had a romantic crush. Nothing wrong to be bias.
With that said, and I am not trying to be bias, to say she was the best Pop Music Superstar/Actress is kind of pushing it IMO since she only had Grease as the legendary movie blockbuster. Not doubting ONJ greatness though. RIP.

  10. It’s heartbroken to know she just passed away today. She’s beautiful at any age and her angelic voice, her songs, her legacy will live in her fans’ heart all over the world. RIP Olivia. You are truly remembered.

  11. I wasn’t born in the 70s, 80s or anytime before then and I don’t even think I’ve watched Grease in all it’s entirety but I do remember the musical parts and what can I say except what an angelic and sweethearted woman she was and the kind that society is severely lacking today.

  12. Out of all the different celebrity deaths we have had this past year, this is the one that hits me the most. RIP Olivia Newton-John you will be missed 😢

  13. At least she fought for so long and passed at 73, not younger. She was amazing and will be dearly missed.

  14. The first song I ever heard her sing was “If Not For You”. Still one of my faves all these decades later. RIP
