Easy for you to sit there and say economies can recover when people are literally going without food and being evicted onto the streets. Have you looked at the increase in suicides since these lockdowns started? There are plenty of strategies that could have been implemented to lessen the death rate, but just completely ceasing up our capitalist economies is going to cause a lot of carnage and we haven’t even felt the worst of it yet. What should have happened is that the elderly and sickly were quarantined with an aim to achieve herd immunity.
