By your (bizzare, absurd) definition, it wouldn’t be treason for, say, an American general to join and aid ISIS or Al Queda, or to sell a nuke to North Korea!
There hasn’t been a declaration of war since… 1942!!! So… If someone gave military secrets to North Veitnam, during that conflict, or to Iraq in 1991… Are you REALLY suggesting that they couldn’t be prosecuted for treason?
Have you even ever really READ and STUDIED the Constitution? (Or the applicable court precedents? …there are many, and they ALL disagree with your simplistic interpretation!) Do you REALLY think that the ‘enemies’ of the US are limited to nation states upon which the US has formally declared war? (Though that IS the usual context for such prosecutions, there is NO statutory definition of such!)

Clarence J. Tillman III, Considering that is exactly what Obama and Biden did to Biden’s Family’s personal financial benefit and investigation of Biden’s personal benefit was Trump’s goal?
That is exactly the enforcement of law the executive branch should be doing.
Hate to tell you this but the only thing that exposed was that Biden with Obama’s approval committed a major felony to the benefit of his son.
If you want to go after Trump for pressuring for an investigation you will need to criminally charge and convict Obama and Biden first or the courts will toss it.

Could you please send me a link or explain in depth what the felony was, and why Trump did not go to the FBI or CIA to investigate this matter instead of a foreign government?
Clarence J. Tillman III, Biden’s son was a prime subject of the investigation and the crime was committed in and against a foreign country.
Biden’s crime was pressuring a foreign country using his office to his son’s benefit.
The FBI has no jurisdiction in the initial crime and the CIA isn’t a Law Enforcement agency.
