@grant towner In my country you don’t need ID to vote. Or get hospital treatment (free at point of delivery) . I’ve also never had to queue for ANY length of time at a polling station at ANY election. Our voting fraud rate is incredibly low, and candidates view the counts carried out by volunteers. They then accept the election result.
GOP reminds me of Saddam just before his end. After they wreck their countries, all of these kinds of leaders end the same way.

What’s an Asian century?
They aren’t just some outside entity, they are us and have been amassing power from within our institutions. It’s a serious threat to democracy. Everytime white supremacists aren’t taken seriously or are ignored completely, it gives them more power. Democracy can’t be sustained without equality and people working together in good faith. Democracy isn’t something you when, it is something you have to continually struggle for.
