Medicine has been letting these sorts of patients down for DECADES. This research is so very long overdue. I had ME/CFS, I’m in the rare few who recovered, the similarities between ME/CFS and Long Covid are so many I have to think some of the some processes are in effect. They are devastating and debilitating symptoms that deserve much more support than they have typically had up until now. I just hope that changes with the many more people now living with chronic fatigue and other symptoms post-Covid.
The bill that is being passed has a section about taking some of our prexisting coverage away…,.will someone know how to check what is in that bill?

I haven’t had covid but I suffer with chronic pain and I’m on disability and I don’t wish this life on anybody! You plan out your entire life, your healthy and enjoying life and then everything’s taken away from you cause of your health! Mine started with an injury at work. I didn’t know it at the time but I tore a muscle in my back and it’s never healed properly. I now have widespread pain all through my body, my body shut down. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis. This isn’t a life you want! I lost the opportunity to have kids, I’m not married even though I’m in a long term relationship. Your health is everything! Please listen to people like myself and people suffering from the results of covid. I’ve been told how great my life must be not working and being on disability, it sucks! I’m broke all the time, worried about money all the time and in pain all the time, there’s not a moment ever I’m not in pain! This isn’t fun! Pay attention to your health!
