@Average Joe First off Joe, orally has a much older demographic. Plain and simple, older people have many more complications from this, from the regular flu, from things just as simple as bowel movements, second a large sum of them still kiss when greeting each other, third they have they great socilaist health care system that I would almost lay money you advocate for. Do you know how many people each year die from the regular flu? 300,000 to 600,000 and yet I don’t see the news media broadcasting that wall to wall.

@Average Joe if we followed your method this country would have hospital beds and ventilators for 300 million people. Everyday people die. 23,000 died today from cancer and yet we don’t have a 24 news cycle about that. More people die in Chicago everyday from shootings, and again, no reporting wall to wall on that.
They likely already have a vaccine but it has to go through trials and then be produced on a mass scale. It will take a while.

How about the if the government start converting hotels in to hospitals. For more hospital rooms and beds. And also get extra medical equipment into the hotels.
They started converting hotels for quarantine in February. Locations are not being published for good reason.

Governor Cuomo is right in my opinion. Instituting a State wide, or even nation wide shelter in place is something that had better be thoroughly accessed in every way before implementing.
David J City wise is logical for small congested areas like NYC. What the governor is saying sounds like Trump, yes nurses and doctors get out. He isn’t making logical sense. Slowing it happens by people staying home and kids are out being stupid and partying.
