The thing is younger folks will for the most part fare very well, as long as you are not sickly, then you should be living your life to the fullest. Those who are older and those who are sickly, must stay home and should be paid by the government so they are not mixing with people. The down votes are probably from those who think that young people and those who are very fit have very little to worry about should be living a normal life. If you have a sickly granny its best to stay away from her, but otherwise do engage in your youth and stop being a scaredy cat, as you have very very little to worry about.

Most older people, at least in my and my husband’s family, are more “I wanna go get a hair cut, I wanna go to a bar, I wanna hang out with my camper friends” when I’m very fine staying at home, only socializing through the internet and playing some good games. Oh yeah I’m also fairly young and have cancer! So I get the decision where I can live 10 years with my cancer killing me or two weeks if I go out and about and get a virus. I’ve made my decision and my family doesn’t support it as a “staying at home thing, and not doing my chemo” when I’ve spoken with my doctor about the policies they put in place to keep me protected. Also I still work! But I do it in a situation where I don’t deal with customers in my office. Not even the boss is allowed in it.
It’s also be mutated where it is killing kids! Please learn something b/c there is a lot more to worry about even if you are in a healthy situation.
@Misty Diablo I live in New York State. My sister lives in Albany. She is a nurse. She was taking care of corona patients, and for the first 5 days she was not allowed to wear any PPE because there was not enough for everyone. She is one of the so called ‘heroes’, well, 3 weeks ago she was furloughed. Many nurses at St Peters Hospital in Albany are on unemployment now because 1) there are not enough corona cases 2) all these elective surgeries were canceled. She was tested last week and is negative for corona and negative for the antibodies. So we have all of these heroes now on unemployment, thats how we take care of our so called heroes. Just think about that for a moment. I lean very liberal, would have voted for Bernie, but, you really won’t have anything to worry about even if you catch it unless you have serious underlying health problems or if you do catch it and unknowingly pass it to an older person who has underlying issues. Of course there are going to be off the chart examples of 1 out 100,000 catching it and dying but that happens even with the regular flu. Good luck to you, just keep an open mind with what the news portrays.

Not every county in WNC! Heres the numbers for one. JHU dashboard map today: 42 deaths 316 cases and rising. Death rate 13.29% I have observed many NOT following guidelines from the beginning. I am more concerned about going to get groceries now, more than 4 weeks ago. THIS IS NOT A HOAX!
