I don’t understand this, at the grocery store there is a limit of 2 4L bags per visit? And I see this>?
I used to go once a week to buy our groceries. Now I have to go twice to buy some extra milk for our family. It doesn’t make any sense.
Dumping milk is the norm. Thete has always been an over abundance of milk. This is it not new.
That is literally not true lol
@StonedZebra 666 You are completely wrong on that . Just a few months ago one of America’s largest dairy firms filed for bankruptcy. That is why it was one of the sticking points of the USMCA agreement.
If they are going to throw the milk away, isnt there some way to get it bottled/bagged and to the food banks and homeless shelters? Also, a 4 liter jug of milk in my small town is $7.89 right now and the stores in the city closest to me only have 1liter chocolate milk available because they cant get enough milk in to meet the demand the past 4 weeks.
THEY DON’T CARE . THEIR CARTEL FORBIDS TO MAKE IT INTO POWDERED MILK AND GIVE TO THE POOR & FOODBANKS, OR STARVING COUNTRIES!
@Patriot lol the Canadian milk cartel? Im sure they care but the logistics involve so many different businesses. The farmers dont want their milk wasted but the farmers arent the ones that transport, pasteurize, package, or deliver it. If the milk is to be donated, the facilities that pasteurize and package it, must do it at their own expense. The truckers that bring the milk anywhere must also do so at their own expense. In order for it to be donated, someone has to organize every aspect from farm all the way to the shelters and food banks.
Get me a bag of cookies Im going in!
Watch mainstream news, they’re not our friends
Maybe we can finally cut back on the ridiculous and environmentally damaging amount of we land and resources we use for the dairy industry.

It seems bizarre since they often limit you to only buying 2 bags at a time so they don’t run out of milk.
Milk can be frozen, evaporated and tinned, or powdered. They should be doing that, in preparation for future events. What a waste.

@Patriot really? Where can I fact check?
The milk processors are full. The producers are making far more milk than can be handled.
what about donating the milk…
Package it up and send it to the 3rd world
STUPID – MAKE IT INTO POWDERED MILK AND GIVE TO THE POOR & FOODBANKS, OR STARVING COUNTRIES!
Why can’t they make Powdered Milk or Cheese out it?
Humans are so wasteful!

Out pricing themselves, I stopped buying cheese and milk, costs yo much,12 dollars pack of cheese
They’d rather dump it than give it away?! Heartless and greedy! I bet industry regulations are behind this!!! Thanks a lot Trudeau!
This industry should be ashamed! Why waste so much when I could be given away for free to the poor.
Make cheese
I don’t know why. The grocery stores don’t have much in them.
Make powdered milk.
Why?
