Trump actually was pushing for a $1.8 trillion deal with the House. It was a deal that Mitch McConnell in the Senate pushed back on and said his conference would only approve a $500 billion package.

Wolf Blitzer asked Pelosi why she didn’t take what Trump was pushing for, which was a $1.8 trillion package. Wolf Blitzer doesn’t even know what specifically was in the Trump package and where that money was going, and neither do you because you haven’t read their draft proposal. Pelosi has read it. Don’t be so naïve. Just because Trump offers up a deal doesn’t mean it is going to happen. If you know anything about Mitch McConnell it should be that he doesn’t bring legislation to a floor vote unless he knows he has the votes in his conference to pass it. Trump’s so called $1.8 trillion offer was dead on arrival in the Senate, and Trump knows that. To this day McConnell is still sticking to the $500 billion line. The only way more money than that is coming out of the Senate is if democrats win the two runoff elections in Georgia in January.

The Senate proposed a bill. The House passed two. The issue is more complicated than you are making it out to be and one man, or party, isn’t at fault.

The House has passed a relief package that the Senate (led by Moscow Mitch) will not accept because it gives the people too much. If it was to give money to the top 1% like the insane orange clown’s tax break they would want to give them more, but the people that voted for them, naaa they don’t want to do that.
