I hope the Russians allow the people that remain in Kherson to forage in the houses that people have left from. Maybe they’ll be able to find food and medicine and other necessities that others may have left behind. I can’t imagine the unending horror these poor innocent people must be going thru. They did nothing to Russia, they didn’t ask for this, they didn’t provoke it. Yet, now they must suffer under occupation by hostile forces.

It is like a crazy nightmare but nightmares do have an ending it don’t last forever but for some people nightmares do have a bad way of staying in the heart forever🤔
Nightmares don’t always have an ending. I lived with a Vietnam veteran. Every night he was back in that war and during the day the feelings and thoughts were haunting him. Saying the dead were better off. I had a Jewish neighbour who lost her whole family but her sister in WWII How older she got how more severe the nightmares. I grew up with parents broken by the war. This is a nightmare that will haunt them forever. They never will be the same.

In 2019 Trump withdrew the US from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF). The withdrawal from the missile treaty just happened to coincide with Lockheed Martin’s production of a new mobile Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) with a range of 600 kilometers.
In March 2021 Biden began shipping a new fully mobile long range hypersonic missile (LRHW), with a range greater than 2,775 kilometers, to Estonia, Latvia, and Ukraine, placing them on the Russia border.
Both the PrSM and the LRHW are dual-use missiles, meaning they can be armed with nuclear or conventional warheads. This also means any missile launched may be perceived as a nuclear attack.
The shorter range missiles would hit Moscow if launched from Ukraine or Estonia. The long range missile could hit Moscow from India (a NATO ballistic missile partner since 2011). Launched from Ukraine this missile would hit Moscow in less than 10 minutes. The US missiles on the Russia/Ukraine border are only 200 kilometers from Moscow. The US missiles on the Russia/Latvia border are 600 kilometers away from Moscow, and the US missiles on the Russia/Estonia border are 640 kilometers from Moscow.
When Russia peacefully gave up Eastern Germany Mikhail Gorbachev was promised that “NATO will not expand one inch to the east”. That was before Estonia and Latvia were brought into NATO. Both countries share a border with Russia.
This all begs the question, why did Biden not prevent this war by removing these missiles from the Russian border and getting back into the INF treaty? Instead Biden did everything he possibly could to provoke Russia into military action in Ukraine.

You cant just wish bad things away…you most show leadership and face them head on with real thinking not putting head in sand.
The question is why the hearts of Europe and the West were not broken for the children of Syria, Yemen, Libya and Iraq during their aggression against them, knowing that they caused the death and displacement of millions of Arabs here, and the painful thing is that this was done by mercenaries and European-American weapons with the money of the Arabs themselves.

Give then a five star rating, and write something like “The food was good, but Russias illegal and inhumane war on Ukraine gave it a very, very bitter taste.”

What does the US have to do with what Russia is doing? It’s not like the condemnation is only coming from America. Even Switzerland condemned it & is supporting Ukraine! The tired whataboutism coming from Russia & its apologists shows that they’re trying to justify the indefensible.

Heartbreaking to say the least. Sending strength, love, courage and healing prayers to her and her children and family and the rest of Ukrainians during this most trying time. Part of our family is of Ukrainian/Russian descent as well, here since the early 1900s who had to flee from the Czar after the pogroms. My late grandmother-in-law was born in Kyiv/Kiev! FREE Ukraine, solidarity! A democratic sovereign independent country since 1991! And hoping NATO accepts their membership asap!
