The problem with Trump’s lawyer’s argument, is that there was literally nothing left to fight for. The election was over. The only thing that remained was for Pence to count and certify the electoral votes. So the only thing they could’ve been fighting for, was to bring a stop to the counting of the electoral votes. And violence was their only option left. Trump had already exhausted every other illegal and unconstitutional option. So on January 6, the violence card was the only card Trump had left.

The house impeachment managers branded the former President as guilty without present facts that substantiated this. The evident must be clear and not conjecture of inferences based on what one believed happened. All facts were not in. And interpretations of what you think a person meant by what the said or did is not fact. Also, there were many victims who should be celebrate but I don’t think celebrating injured officers should have been lessoned by including them in an impeachment trial. There should be a separate ceremony hearalding what was done with all the bells and whistles, otherwise it seemed like an emotional ploy. Lastly, there were two parties victimized at the capital that was the Democrats AND the Rebuplicans who were all int he same room. If it occurred exactly as presented by Democratic Managers, there would have been no need to convince republicans otherwise. This is were things are unclear. You can’t present data through your personal interpretation of what occurred. you can narrate snipets of info and say your narration is fact. This is the flaw of what was presented.
