I wish I could shake your hand. I am living in the US out of necessity, after working 10 yrs in Jamaica I couldn’t even buy a bicycle much less a education. I had to migrate to make something of my life. We must do better for our citizens.
It’s not that we are not wanted, what we should start doing is adopting the best practices of going about things the proper way, even if it means you have to enter into another country by not so legitimate means

Excellent job. Breaking the law should have consequences. If Jamaica had standards and upheld them people wouldn’t need to illegally run overseas.

First of all the governor has NO jurisdiction over immigration. While you can regulate crime within your state, you can’t usurp federal jurisdiction. Florida is an outlier and this will have to go through the US congress to become a national law. Let’s not encourage fear mongering. This is a Florida issue and let’s be accurate.
Its no pressure buss no pipe here, the ones in power are weak & people know that, that’s why they are flooding the border, you can’t be a weak leader, what will happen to the country so many rely on for freedom & opportunities, its a process but when you just free for all people going to take advantage of the situation and make the good suffer for the bad, people out there running for them life & some just looking for a better life, which one is more important? We should encourage people to do the right thing & do not break the law & they don’t have anything to worry about then. @Red Face you presume a lot but I like to be comfortable and one thing about the Caribbean is a tree always somewhere with food and you don’t have to worry about being kicked out during winter when your friend, boyfriend or family fed up. Can always go street and sell few homemade things

@Benny Price I can only speak for me and I know I hated not being able to just go out and get any job because I did not have the the necessary paperwork and knew I could not live like that year after year. A few months was enough for me. No-one was gonna cut no style on me and feel they doing me a favour

What would happen if Jamaica govament start giving meal vouchers,putting up shelters and giving Haitians bus fares to go wherever they want in the country?
