@K B I’m sure these Mayors could have taken the necessary procautions to help protect their communities (mandate masks, recommend people to stay home, etc), but they didn’t. Even if I’m wrong about this, that still doesn’t explain why a largely liberal state is surging just like Texas, Flordia, and Georgia? If Republican Governors were wrong to reopen their states, then how come California is surging as well?
@Brady N Because Cali also opened up too much too soon. Not AS fast as the others, but not one state met the CDC criteria that Trump signed off on and then went against to praise the governors who opened up the quickest. The truth is people are simply not being safe. Too many people refusing to wear masks, refusing to stay home when sick, refusing to forego family parties, etc.

But it’s not just the confirmed Cases that have gone up but hospitalizations are going up, ICU’s are filling up. Tell the whole story

I think ALL Americans should sue for deceiving us ,….they knew about the virus in December and January and they did nothing.

What about California which is SURGING? Have you even looked at where the cases are coming from? Texas: Houston and Dallas (largely democratic cities). Florida: Miami (largely democratic city). Georgia: Atlanta (largely democratic city). California: LA (largely democratic city).
The fact of the matter is locking down only slowed down the spread. COVID wasn’t going to just miraculously go away while we were in lockdown.
