I use to work for a Canadian fintech company in Sudan. The company paid taxes to the Canadian government. Foreign companies that have home bases in canada do a lot for the Canadian economy.

I’m on board with helping others. But where’s the housing for Canadians? Why does everyone else get a safe place to stay, priority track? Why does this country prioritize everyone else instead of Canadians?

I’ve had a NEXUS application in for over a year. Paid taxes all my life. Nice to hear we make sure immigrants and refugees are taken care of before our own citizens. This bureaucracy is just getting painfully stupid!!

Most refugees are doing better than born Canadians. $500/kid tax exempt child tax credit, throw in some welfare and subsidized housing, set for life. Once you have 4-5 kids in Canada, you can clear as much money not working as you can by studying and working hard.
We cant take care of our own veterans and seniors and homeless. Just what we need is more immigrants that we foot the bill for. Trudeau should pay their way out of his trust fund, he can afford it.
Pick a favorite… look like a hero.. and let that distract from the failures.
