I’ve served alongside and for General Officers in our great US Army and I can imagine how angry they were to have to listen to a man who showed he had no honor nor integrity nor respect for them and where they have been emotionally and physically for our country because he trump never sacrificed for anything.

Teaching 6 year olds, all my career, the most challenging of all children to try and deal with were those children, who had both low intelligence (learning difficulties) and aggressive bullying behaviour. There was very few behaviour interventions that worked.

My brother, former Army and Trump supporter, made some comment a while back about Gen Milley being disgusting and how he should be courtmartialed. I didn’t try to argue, as I’m trying to keep the peace in my family, but I wonder how the right is going to try to spin this one. Which is why even as a Massachusetts democrat and I disagree with Cheney and Kinzinger congressional voting record, I would more readily support Kinzinger as a potential compromise with conservatives for Presidential Office.
Greece was the birth place of democracy/Republic of Greek City States. that’s a descendent of philosophical thinking in Greece that all men are equal and should have an equal voice. Free thinking allowed them to be on the bleeding edge of sociological/cultural/technology/military(the phalanx, naval construction and travel, Greek fire)/structural (the Acropolis as a social center in all Greek Cities for people to meet, discuss, and exchange ideas) advancement for 300+ years as the known world leader. America has only been the leader for 80 years. Not someone saying hop and every saying “sure ok”, that doesn’t advance our nation scientifically or technologically. America became the power house it is because we offered a “sanctuary for free thinkers of all race and creed to participate in the market place of ideas”
But I do agree our Military Generals (not including presidential office) and military defense needs to be reinforced and the command structure should be reviewed and strengthened in light of Russian and Chinese aggression.
