I can’t fathom being a mother and getting a knock on the door to be told that my child was killed in action….the many mothers who received this information…..as a mother my heart aches….aches for their loss and pain. Words can never express my undying gratitude for the men and women who serve this country so that I could be safe, and free. Thank you for your sacrifice………..

Even though this woman maintained her composure so well, watching her speak brought me to tears — she was not weeping but I was. She has a lot of strength — all she wants to have now is some modicum of justice in all of this.
