The jury has found former police officer Derek Chauvin guilty on all counts in the murder of George Floyd last May.
Chauvin, 45, was found guilty of second- and third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter:

If justice and the code of law that we all agree to live together and follow isn’t obeyed by all, if justice isn’t done in a case so obvious as this, what else would you expect? Quite frankly I didn’t expect them to find him guilty of all counts, and I fully expected to turn on the TV to carnage and cities burning this evening. But thank the almighty Flying Spaghetti monster, the jurors did the right thing, and justice was served.
