NASA mission finds water on the sunlit surface of the moon

There may be more water on the moon than previously believed, including on its sunlit surface. This water could be used as a resource during upcoming missions — like NASA's return of humans to the lunar surface through the Artemis program. The two studies published in the journal Nature Astronomy, and researchers shared their findings during a NASA press conference.

    1. That’s the DC way; take something everything agrees on and politicize it so nothing actually gets accomplished.

    1. No Ho , sunlit side of the moon is above water boiling temperature, so would have water steam . And water can not stay with moon. Moon rotate both on its axis and Round the Earth. So the sunlit side almost the whole moon, if not the north or south poles. The water must bestored at enclosed inner body.

    1. Oh please. It’s incredible how people ignore the long list of great accomplishments he’s done and will vote himself.

    1. @Lawson Acton Well if they aren’t reporting on that topic of Flint, you might as well bring it up on a video about water, right?

    2. I don’t live there but apparently Elon Musk has taken it upon himself, to give the people water. I think he gave them a machine or something? The power plant not the people but idk…I don’t live there nor have I ever visited so I couldn’t say for sure

  1. There is no dark side of the moon, it’s all dark (PF classic) and it’s also all lit by the sun, we just don’t get to see it.

    1. NASA actually said “sunlit surface”, referring to the lower latitudes. But of course CNN had to make this into the “sunlit side”

    1. True look at the mindset of humans

      Oh yeah moon is there
Its has water so it belongs to us
Next mars it has energy we can use to power so it belongs to us
Next Jupiter it has minerals and new elements we can use so it belongs to us

    2. @RAM 1996 You missed the high-end minerals in the asteroid belt. They might belong to the residence of the moon since they blew up the planet?

  2. When we have conquered Interstellar travel what will we gain A New Perspective on our selves or hopefully a wider scope of our arrogance🤔👽🌎🙏
