Very sad. I hope the whole country does some self reflection and takes a real look at what circumstances made this attack possible. This was 100% avoidable and I hope the steps are taken to make the policy changes needed to prevent similar violence in the future.

The story sounds so sketchy if you do a bit of research and not just believe what CNN and the rest tell you
WHY was that house not wired to immediately call 911 when a window or door was breached? The outcome shouldn’t have rested on whether an intruder ‘let’ Paul use the bathroom, or make a phone call. He certainly shouldn’t have had to rely on the 911 operator having ‘intuition’ about what was really going on AT 2:30 IN THE MORNING FROM THAT PARTICULAR HOUSE which should obviously be in the database as being a high priority residence. If this is what the second in line to the Presidency gets for security, the rest of us are doomed.
