Lets face it, kids are germ machines and carriers when in school… Everyone’s Kids, no matter how clean they are personally.. The close proximity just makes it nearly impossible to not come in contact with the AIR ALL the other students are breathing.. THe ONLY safe way is to give them a full face mask and oxygen, while filtering the exhaled breaths…

This is what I say about schools. let them open them up., just dont send your kids. All parents should revolt. This is getting really rediculous, now they’re going after our kids just to try and prove a point. It’s a certain guaranteed disaster. It’s just not going to work. So instead of wasting time with all this ,the board of education need to be working on a plan for education NOT in an enclosed space. Via Skype or Zoom. Some kind of an App or program would have to be designed as a tool. Once again,, The US is late. They should have been working on this months ago.
@Fly by night – So what is it you are afraid of? Do you have some type of data that suggest kids are vulnerable to covid? All the data I read shows the virus has little to no effect on children. “They’re going after your kids”? What the heck do you mean by that?

@Gregg You are correct. Here in Australia not one person under 50 years old have died. School students have a stronger immune system than the elderly. In Australia the last person to die was 92 years of age. My daughter is a teacher and a 10 year old student had the virus and did not know it, the teacher got the virus. The student was and still is fine. The teacher did recover. Best wishes from Australia.

@Don Quattrocchi Sounds about right Don however it is info from March so the numbers will be different. Just reading about the labs they are sending the tests to and it appears all the lab results for about 8 different labs are all coming back 100% positive which doesn’t seem right.
