Mike is fantastic. Amazing life story. And great for the President to bring business leaders to speak. It is because of our great companies and great people that we can fight the virus like no other country!
There are some pretty ugly comments here… I am really encouraged by the examples of private industries doing more than their part. I hope it encourages other companies to look at what they are capable of doing for their country. This is the same model that was set in WWII. I love listening to those recordings. I think we all, as individuals, could do more as well. I am thankful that he was given the opportunity to speak.
It used to be the common way, for the rich in this country to take care of the others. Like rob ford increasing his worker’s income by 5 dollars during an age wherein that would equate to a 25 dollar per hour pay raise. Or when Carnegie built all those libraries and just gifted them to city officials.
We lost that spirit, that patriotic spirit of being an american. Hopefully the public and private sector can once again work in tandem for the benefit of society rather than themselves.

They understood first hand what religious persecution was all about and IMHO specifically did not include any mention of the Bible or Christianity in the US Constitution for a reason.
