    1. @Jumbo Meall I said was that the federal, canada health act is the problem, the private sector cannot pitch in because of it. How are you right? There are thousands of unfilled nursing positions, tens of thousands. Where is the staff supposed to come from? Don’t you think every hospital is desperately trying to recruit staff? Burned out nurses are retiring . Done. So your “more staff” solution makes no sense.

    2. @Alligator Pie Yeah partly privatize healthcare and see what happens similar to America there would develop a gap where level’s of healthcare are determined by level’s of wealth so that Canada’s poorest would eventually suffer.

    3. @Alligator Pie you clearly are slow. It’s a staffing issue as you’ve pointed out several times. That’s provincial not federal. You must be American to be that daft.

    4. @Alligator Pie Sounds like they’re more concerned with being right than trying to find a solution to the problem. Don’t understand how anyone can defend Trudeau.

  1. This is just unbelievable. Triage should have caught the jaw pain and flu like symptoms as symptoms of a heart attack in women. And I am a lay person who has had that exact experience of a heart attack that was immediately triaged as I entered the ER and saved my life. Incredulous…What is going on with the triage part of the ER????

    1. They are trained like McDonalds workers assembling a Big Mac to follow a step by step by the book system and as individuals lack most critical diagnostic skills…ie no calling.

  2. Canada’s healthcare delivery model is collapsing , both here and it’s sister, the NHS in the UK. How many have to die.

  3. I’m starting to understand why Cape Bretoners want their own provincial status .. at least then they can take the federal equalization they’d get and put it in their health care system. Might not be a bad idea for them to establish a medical school at UCB as well.

  4. This is awful 😞 an it’s happening all over Canada now. We have no health care now? No family doctor’s no meditation? Rent prices through the roof an food cast that make no scene what so ever !?

  5. Somehow, government sponsored euthanasia as healthcare may have an impact on the mindset of many healthcare workers, perhaps a certain loss of respect for the care and life of the patient.

  6. This isn’t happening in Alberta. Tell turdeau to step down or you’re giving this tragic event a two thumbs up!

  7. I saw a meme recently of an American, a UK citizen and a Canadian at the doctor. The American doctor said we can help you but that will be $5000, the UK doctor says we can help you in 16 months, the Canadian doctor says we can help you in 16 months but have you considered not being alive anymore?
