Most Republican Senators Seem Unswayed As Democrats Conclude Impeachment Arguments | MTP Daily
Of course they can’t vote to convict because a lot of them are just as guilty as he is.
Trump is just a symptom. We are a failing democracy because of 1) the electoral college, 2) plurality voting 3) the Senate.
True, but he’d sacrifice all of them in a heartbeat to save himself. I’d like to see them have the guts to do what’s right, just for once.
Trump couldn’t rig the election so Republicans are rigging his Senate impeachment trial.
@MGE : Not just that! Trump has engaged in what is jury tampering on a massive scale. A jury of 100 has at least 50 members under direct threat of violence from the defendant who is likely to be successful with those threats.

This is ridiculous. That was a clear, well developed, case that proved insurrection. let’s just call this what it is: craven republicans too cowardly to vote honestly. What a sad day for that party and for this country.
