I only recycle platic bottles, cans, and glass bottles. Then you take them to the recycling center and get money for it 👍🏽

greedy industrialists change packaging and stop blaming consumers. We are not free labor to separate stupid packages. Stop paying millions to media and invest in renewing packaging suitable to the 21st century.
Everything should be clearly labeled “TRASH” or “RECYCLE” by law. All the words and packaging symbols are confusing

Recycling as a solution is a lie, only 5% is actually recycled.

Good advice.
But pointless unless your trash collection services – whether private or local government – can be trusted to actually recycle.
An astonishing amount of recyclable waste still goes – quietly – into landfills. Just because your refuse agency hands out colorful leaflets with glowing accounts of recycling doesn’t always mean they’re actually doing it.
But generally yes they do actually recycle it. Though, sometimes, there is contamination or perhaps there is a glut in the market so a batch gets thrown out, or some other issue, but this is life, we are not perfect but we do our best.
Very informative. And she’s quite lovely. Makes a story about trash so much more enjoyable.

I dont recycle, I hoard 🙁 you never know when you need aluminum or plastic.
Why is recycling so confusing? Can someone not be employed to sort it? It creates a job and it helps the planet because you almost need intense training to figure this out, what company accepts what etc etc

Most of the stuff labeled recyclable is not recyclable. Your coffee cup probably has the logo so does your juice box and your milk carton.
