Senator Mitch McConnell was asked about the reports of Justice Clarence Thomas receiving gifts from a wealthy Conservative donor.

In a statement, Thomas acknowledged that he and his wife, Ginni Thomas, had joined billionaire GOP megadonor Harlan Crow and his wife Kathy on a number of “family trips” during the more than a quarter century they have known them. He described the couple as “among our dearest friends.”
Thomas has accepted lavish gifts from the billionaire Dallas businessman nearly every year, which had included vacations on Crow’s superyacht and trips on the billionaire’s Bombardier Global 5000 jet as well as a week each summer at Crow’s private resort in the Adirondacks, ProPublica reported, citing flight records, internal documents and interviews with Crow’s employees.

As of December 2022, the youngest U.S. Senator is Jon Ossoff at 35, the average age is 65 with 4 Senators at that age, there are 37 Senators that are at least 70, & the 2 oldest are Diane Feinstein & Chuck Grassley at 89 years old. I feel that if we have a 2 & 1/2 term limit (or 10 year maximum) for the President & a majority of Governors have term limits, we should have term limits for all members of the House (I say 10, 2 year terms), Senate (3, 6 year terms), & Judiciary (at most 20 years). I feel this is the only way to prevent complicity in our government by constantly changing it, & with these term limits, Justice Thomas would have been removed & replaced over a decade ago!
The most important thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be how to invest in different sources of income that doesn’t depends on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world 🌎. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks gold, silver and digital currencies.

Yes, Mitch, the SC is a different branch of government, but the framers of the Constitution developed a system of checks and balances among these three branches. It’s the job of Congress to check the abuses of the SC.
