@Linda Observes Linda, you may not understand this yet, but many people with God firmly in their lives do not believe in these false prophets that have helped build Mr Trump into a cult-hero, and are now trying to help him hold on to power, despite his defeat in the recent election.
Sadly, many of those preaching what they believe to be “God’s word” on the subject appear to be overly influenced by the promptings of their own personal desires, political partisanship, worldly ambition, man-made religious beliefs, selective Biblical readings and interpretation, and cultural preferences.
All this forms a tough overlay or filter that makes it impossible for anyone to hear that genuine ‘still, small voice’ within, and interpret it correctly. It arises from the natural human tendency to egocentricity, a limited view of reality that I’ve come to believe is the equivalent of and likely simply another name for that force that was known as Satan or the Devil in days gone by.
I’m afraid those American Christian Churches that have been led astray by powerful temptations to worldly dominion (clearly anti-Christian, as shown by Jesus’s flat-out rejection of Satan’s temptations with which he tried to lure him off his correct, spiritual path and mission, in the desert) have a time of great cleansing and reassessment coming, which may be a painful and confusing time for many but will be beneficial in the long run.
