@dts51sound There is a difference between a family of virus and a member of that family. Yes the current virus is PART of the corona virus FAMILY. But this MEMBER (strain COVID-19) is new, This helps finding a vaccine but each vaccine only works for one strain so a new one to match this still have to be created. Our bodies are NOT Resistant to this virus strain making exposure resulting in illness. almost guaranteed. Of the people getting ill (likely close to everyone) 2% so far have died (only 0.1% of “normal” flue patients die) So its likely that 2% of the whole population will die if no vaccine/ cure has been found. Sp the U.S.A. is about 300 million people meaning 6 million of them will die.
