  1. Dammit Michael! Do you know how hard I’ve worked over the last 10 years to NOT get invited to Thanksgiving dinner with the inlaws??? 🤨

    1. I never go to Thanksgiving dinner with family. Mainly because I dont want to be subjected to sports

    1. @Jay Morgan
My Republican family members aren’t racist which makes their Trump support that much more outrageous…
Most amazing is my Republican brother is married to a Puerto Rican Woman and I say to him Trump hates your wife and daughters… Unbelievable!

    1. As a pro Bernie bystander from Europe – I wish I could vote for Bernie – is the primaries the election when the DNC choose their candidate? Or is that voted on again before the main presidential election?
His politics seems to be what the US wants, with him and Warren – whose politics is similar – in majority over Biden.
I hope that is taken into account. There should be no fighting within the party on this,..

    2. @C J The problem has always been with Sanders is that he is not officially part of the Democratic Party. He has no party affiliation but he caucuses with Democrats. That fact bothers a lot of Democrats even if they agree with his policies. The presidential primaries are the candidates’ selection vote by voters. Then there are the Democratic and Republican Conventions next summer where the candidate is officially selected. Then, finally, the general election next November.

    1. Right, and also because the multi-millionaires and billionaires that have been bilking our tax system through loopholes for decades will say “yeah, but how does any of that help me?” My children are already adults now, set to inherit my wealth through fancy accounting tricks that let me shirk my tax responsibilities, and I already sent my children long ago to fancy private universities by gaming the admissions process, and I already have the best private healthcare that money can buy. With them, its all “I, I, I… me, me, me”. That’s is how they think. Greed has infected their minds to the point where they can’t think of anyone but themselves. Whereas most people might end the common phrase “For the good of…” with the terms “the people” or “the country” or “the world” or even “humanity”, these folks instead end it with “myself”, “my family”, “my estate”. That’s the real issue. Pure *selfishness* has always been the core tenant of the Republican party, the party of the rich. Charitable donations? BS. They only make those because of the tax writeoff they get and to pretend they are doing something “noble”. In fact, it’s just a ploy to get out of paying taxes to the government who has programs that ACTUALLY help people. They are instead controlling the use of that money for frivolous self indulgences. The end result is that the average poor or working joe is burdened paying the bulk of US taxes, while the rich are using their wealth to avoid paying any, and putting their names on buildings. Again, all self-serving. It is never about “service to others” or “doing what is right for humanity” with them. So everything Michael said here will NOT resonate with them. All they can think about is their own wealth and how something will either positively or negatively impact it. It’s a mental sickness. And if they are actually forced to finally pay their proper share of taxes as a percentage of ALL their income and wealth, they will chuck the “for the good of humanity” stuff right out the door. Think about it: that’s *exactly* what they’ve already done with our country. They’ve allowed a criminally corrupt con man to destroy all of our institutions of democracy (and play directly into our #1 adversaries plans to weaken and destroy America) …and all of it because of their selfish concern for their own wealth. They are traitors to America and terrorists to its democracy.

    1. John Jones …. Again. I agree. Australia has basic medical insurance for everyone. Each tax payer pays around 2% extra and hey presto … get sick and you wont go bankrupt. Its basic smart government. 🇳🇿

    2. Me too again! Medical insurance should be normal in a western country. In the netherlands medical insurance costs 100-120 euro a month and the government spends +/- 12% of her budget on health care.

    3. My parents left the USA when I was 2. They are in their late 80’s and would be dead or bankrupt if weren’t for the move to Australia.

  2. Bernie will fight for the average working man, he always has. He will continue as president! Bernie 2020!

  3. Thank you Michael for endorsing that wonderful man, Bernie. Keep up the good work. I hope US heals soon! Love from Canada, medicare for all!!
