@Jordan Phan you unfortunately are part of the HOA that is in charge of the building maintenance. So if you never attend the meetings or you fear spending 200k to fix the building over your mortgage value you are well…. Screwed

I’m reeling over this tragedy. This is horrific. I try to imagine how the building came down in the middle of the night. Freefall. I have experienced earthquakes before and the sound and feeling is horrific. I try to imagine what these people went through and it’s very sad.
I agree. How did the building fall down after holding people for so many years? This is why I pray to our Lord Jesus Chirst as I don’t trust buildings made by people. So far, I’m safe, but I’ll continue praying for other so that they will be safe!
