Meet The Press Reports Dives Into Worldwide Cyberwar | MTP Daily | MSNBC
One thing for sure is that cybercriminals are behind the acts of cyberwar.
Not true, the only thing for sure is nothing is for sure.
@Don B Not true?
well. now that we know that….wouldn’t it be great to do something about it
One sure-fire way to shield yourself from ransomware attacks is to stop using microsoft software.
Use Linux.
The Internet will be the Demise of the World
Like all technological advances, there is good and bad. Try to imagine how people would have connected, if this pandemic had arisen 25 years ago, when we only had dial-up modems, and the only decent search engine was Altavista?
Russia can f…. a “democratic” election but we can’t!
🤔……………
Humanity is fundamentally flawed!
The question is ‘How did the progenitors of the digital age become so inept at protecting their invention?’ How did the US fall so far behind in cybersecurity that they can’t protect their critical systems? How did people in Russia, China, N.Korea, India become so adept at intrusion it is apparent nobody can stop them?
Microsoft’s O/S is too monolithic, and security was not built in at the beginning. Every attempt they’ve made, to add permissions, and secure their O/S and applications, has been kludgy. Developers need to write programs that can run on Linux, so we can all dump Windows.
