Meat Plant's Coronavirus Cases Spreading Rapidly To Surrounding Community | Rachel Maddow | MSNBC
Send some of those Republicans that are eager to get back to work! No mask required!👑☠️🤚😁
Super tolerance achieved 👋👏👋👏
@Bro K just like your orange daddy huh
@Soraw Y 🍊 daddy lol. Tell me more please lol
Well thankfully there are so many libs in NY hopefully it’s mostly them dying.
@Dave Schultz what hard manly work do you do ?
Best of Luck — You were warned !!
Lol thanks we’ll be fine here 👍🌎🇺🇲🦅
Bro K yep, trump’s gonna make pandemics great again 👍🏼
A lot fewer raging Trumpers in the comments these days. They’ve got an idea of what Trump is, maybe. Certainly, an idea of how many people out there who understand what’s going on, and are willing to argue the points.
No doubt their out blocking some other hospital entrances.
@Billy Hill never underestimate their capacity for alternative facts. Right now they are spinning these alternative facts : 1. The flu has similar death toll 2. The numbers are overstated since they are counting even those that died with pre-existing conditions(diabetes, etc.) 3. US is not the highest in deaths per capita (not yet) – 4. Hospitals are empty the media is lying….. these are just some of the propaganda going around
@FS Y can’t fix stupid…..go volunteer then…no bet you won’t coward ..
@Lyn Ryall I believe FS Y was saying exactly that: “can’t fix stupid” about trump sycophants.
The raging Trumpers are out protesting and contracting COVID-19 and will die shortly. The fatality rate is far higher than what Faux News is reporting, New York just put out that 90% of their patients have died once put on a ventilator. This pandemic is on pace to completely wipe out the population and re-set humanity.
The workers have no choice if they quit they risk losing possible benefits if they stay they die.
Victorious Victory Google how many meat packing plants that have closed in other states too.
doug Edmonds not any more
Lola Samuels He thinks it won’t be he or a family member. It is interesting that in my area there are more people in their 20s getting sick. Probably because they take less precautions.
@Cute and Funny Earthlings This story dates from July 11, 2019, 10 months ago and before there was a hint of Covid 19.
No no they haven’t. Its already coming out that doctors have been pressured to make Covid the cause of death on every death certificate! Stay home under your bed and let the big people get back to work
Republican Governor values dollars over lives.
And water is wet.
Dixie Ten Broeck : It’s honestly his best work, in my view. I read it at a time when I, and several others close to me, were grieving over an absurdly strange and tragic time in our lives, so my memory of it is coloured by the fact that it was so helpful to me personally. But, I’ve gone back to it, several times since, as it’s one of those books that you can get new things from all the time. I believe many of his piers and friends also saw it as his apotheosis too. And I can see why. If you like him; if you, “get,” him, do yourself that favor. Read it ✌️
Tramp 2Q2Q : Yaaawwwnnnski . . . 😴
@Dixie Ten Broeck 0612
@Denver Ross In the long run, violence solves NO problems; it just breeds more violence. Not good advice.
@Soen Seng Thio Sorry; I don’t understand what you are saying. Try stringing some words together into… a whole sentence, maybe?
Gov Nebraska John Peter Ricketts need to be charge first degree murder for Covid-19 Pandemic in Nebraska.
I disagree
How I feel I live in Georgia go to open up in 2 days I am staying in my house safe I cannot go outside
Adam T you shouldn’t need to choose, the Federal Government has the answer but unfortunately too stupid and self centred administration go see it.
@Charlie Hepburn That’s exactly it. I’m not making light of Dan Degraw’s situation. Nor am I saying that he must choose to go to work. My point is that he and his fellow Georgians are in an impossible position, especially if they have a family to support–or loved ones to protect.
I’m in Georgia also. Wife is high risk. Let those yahoos go out and get tattoos and go get their hair colored. They’ll spread it like wildfire!
@James Persinger you’re pretty funny I need get a tattoo in outbreak number are going up in Georgia almost everyday
@James Persinger three weeks will be the proof!!
Glad I got out of the meat packing business. It’s sad that Reagan destroyed the pay for such hard work with his act in 1986. I met some good people there. Most of our upper class look at you for doing this type of work as low life’s. I disagree. There shouldn’t be anything wrong with honest work. I hope these people get the help they need. They deserve good medical care.
@Dave Schultz So illegals aren’t people? Is that what you are saying. Or that illegals don’t sick. Or that illegals can’t infect other people?
@Samantha Gibson Thanks for saying that. I woud never date such a person or even have him s a friend. fair. Probably not. But it disgustes me on a visceral level.
@Robert Hubbard You are out of touch.
What was the act in 1986 Paul? He did enough damage in 1981 when he crippled the Air Traffic Controllers union.
@Batt Manion the immigration reform and control act of 1986, I believe. I was still in school, but remember all the Americans Reagan screwed over. The media in the area blamed the American workers, as if they were responsible for those busses that came in with Mexican labor, who were given amnesty by Reagan, with that act described earlier. The Mexicans I knew didn’t like living 4 or 5 families in a house. That destroyed the house and property values. The place really went downhill there after that.
I see history repeat itself when I hear the republicans blame the meat packing workers for the spread of corona. I would love to see those wimpy lazy republicans try to do those jobs. I am not either party, but would love to see the republican party disbanded, and other American voices be heard. This country treats us Americans like we are Chinese communist, and America is in the dumps because of it. That’s why when I see Trump act all concerned about Kim junk ill being sick, I can see Trump wanting us to live like the North Koreans. I really do see Trump and the republicans as anti-American sell outs.
Wow, an abattoir is a wet market on steroids so should the world now demand to inspect usa facilities?
Bro K and you do know that trump relaxed those regulations in 2019, right?
@Deens M Yes I’m aware – https://thehill.com/policy/energy-environment/461798-trump-administration-allows-fewer-usda-inspectors-at-pork-plants?amp
Relaxed meaning fewer inspectors and faster inspection. Still have to pass USDA inspection.

1.
the ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with.
@Bro K Fewer and quicker inspections = ” that’s near enough, i’ll pass it and get on to the next job and be home early for supper”
Sounds good to me.
@maxthecat14 and then I can get out my second job so I will be able to make a living wage this month…maybe
“There goes Nebraska!”
(Stubbornness doesn’t fight CV-19)
@Bro K
OK, let’s see how that turns out for you….
Remember how he talked about winning? We”re in last place in the world!
@Bro K
So many don’t understand the difference between fear and awareness. It’s amazing.
Wait, tolerance? Lol.
@meetpoorfor crowinsfo What the POTUS says is irrelevant, it’s his actions we watch here. Making decisions out of fear are how mistakes are made, again we’ll be fine, thanks for your concern, will pray for you, stay healthy ✌️
@Bro K show how tough you are, have your family “gathering”, have a nice dinner, take video, share, like, and post, then bend over for your Pinocchio, hop away and “croak”, will make for great ratings
No work, no healthcare. Strange world.
People are expendable.
bill republicans consider medical care a privilege not a right.
More like strange America..
Yeah,your basketball team was never “World Champions”,either,fuckwit
@Don Jonsen now we are injecting Windex and 150 watt light bulbs in our mouths
You couldn’t make it up.
How’s the stocks of snake oil in your city?
It sure appears that Republican governors have no regard for human life if it interferes with donors or getting reelected.
@Doug Moran did you pull that lie out of your 💩 hole or are you brains mush from watching fake news? thank God hilldabeast isn’t the president
@Mike Vandyke How dare you, @dougmoran is a “expert” on many topics, the flyover states being one of many. @dougmoran everyone 👋👏👋👏 😂
Did the dem governor of New Orleans have regard for human life when Mardi Gras was held anyway.
Who will re-elect them?
@Doug Moran No no they are winners, and they ain’t tired of winning yet.
Is the beef and pork infected? The virus survives on on hard surfaces, how long on meat?
@Mieke Bruin Not for nothing, but human body temperature is 98.6 degrees and the virus seems to survive in that temperature just fine, so I don’t think the statement that “viruses and bacteria won’t survive heat above 70 degrees” is correct.
Constituent A 70 degrees Celsius 158 Fahrenheit

Go vegan!
..Yes…
Nebraska about to be the next New York for coronavirus… this is gonna be very very very bad, and all from republican stupidity
Charles T. 👍 yep
Wrong
@Matthew Williams you are right
Republicans didn’t create the virus quit making excuses for China
@isaidme0 Grow up you fool.
Has anybody asked the question, “is this meat processed at these plants now contaminated with the virus?”. What does effect does refrigeration have on the virus spores?
Viruses do not produce spores. Just do what you would do with meat normally, handle it carefully, cook it thoroughly, wash your hands, and anything that the meat came in contact with, all raw meat is infected with something nasty.
the workers in these plants are standing shoulder to shoulder, the employers are not letting the workers practice social distancing, that is how the virus spreads, not by infecting meat
Berkleley Dilworth THE VIRUS THRIVES ON DEAD FLESH. Do your own research, the 2 idiots that responded are 100% wrong.
@Bill Jones I worry you may be right. That would be a catastrophe!
… and at a future daily briefing … that was a snarky question – you are a bad reporter – listen, I am the greatest president America has ever had – people say that – I am one of the best world leaders ever – that’s what I hear – I a stable genius – these things are said to me – I hear them – now a question from you doctor in the white coat – why do you want me to follow you? I am the president of the United States – I am – I am …
“Everything…EVERYTHING, is all about ME ME MEEEE!🤮
This will spread like wildfire with no stay at home order. Enjoy your haircuts and bowling alleys Nebraska
Bowling is fun!
And tattoo parlours.
Will do, enjoy keeping that head of yours in the sand 😉
fools
Hold up, it’s the meat packing industry AGAIN? The very industry whose health standard was so low that prompted the establishment of FDA in the first place? Gee, consider me surprised.
I wonder if these Governors will take responsibility for these deaths if it comes out that because of their policies more people died than was necessary. They probably won’t but then the question is will they be held responsible by the citizens of the States..
Matthew Lewis people forget we have that right sadly…..
All those people that have COVID should make a visit to see the governor since there isn’t any social distancing in place.
Yes citizens…go visit the governor! Say hi and thanks for nothing from all of us!
