I have wondered for a while whether Meadows has struck a cooperation deal with DOJ. It struck me as odd not just that DOJ decided not to prosecute him over his failure to respond to a Congressional Subpoena but also that they took so long to announce that decision. It was almost as if there were long and complicated negotiations in the background. Not long after that announcement there was the raid of Mar-a-Lago. Meadows was probably in the know about that. Meadows has been very quiet recently although that could just be that he is acting on his lawyer’s advice so as not to worsen his legal position. If he is genuinely cooperating with the Feds then Trump is in a whole lot of trouble
