@Her Story Like I said, it was crystal clear that the latina being interviewed knew the right wing *_rhetoric._* Whether she *_wanted_* or actually uses “free stuff” is irrelevant, as is the fact that the country’s “Food Stamp Capitol” is a white county in Mitch Mcconnell’s Kentucky that faithfully votes against their own interests. The POINT is that she was spewing those garbage talking points as a voter *_with that garbage in mind_* when choosing four more years of Trump.
Your degrees and familial achievements mean absolutely *_nothing_* if the wrong cop stops any of you for changing lanes without using a turn signal. The wrong kind of cop is feeling even MORE emboldened by these election results than he felt at this same time *_yesterday,_* as are the Karen’s, and the George Zimmermans. So, while it’s *_awesome_* that you and yours are able to prosper greatly no matter *_who_* wins our elections, for too many there are *_levels_* to greatness being heavily influenced/stunted/interrupted by the politics of the nation. Election wild cards like “brown” voters who are steeped in racist political ideologies are a real problem that *_should_* have been obvious to all. Most *_republicans_* didn’t even pick up on it. This discovery is a happy accident for them. Going forward, they’ll likely be making adjustments to their anti-immigrant rhetoric. Or not.
@Valencia Mcneill If you read what I stated I said that the younger generation does not understand the blood sweat and tears it took for us to get to where we are.as a family. I also understand the struggle, but Blacks have to stop looking at all Brown and Black skin people as a friend. As Ronald Martain stated that all skin folk are not skin folk. The thing about people Brwon, White, even Black you give a person something to hate and they forget about their condition and interest. Why do you think a majority of Chinese immigrants voted for #45 even with his negative talk. The Republicans already know as Donald Trump stated he did not know the Proud Boys were a racist group because the leader is a Latino. Look at Marc Rubio in Florida. They already know, so do not think that they do not. Also, the Cubans in Florida know the effects of Immigration. When I lived in Florida Immigration came to the elementary school to take Cuban parents and children into custody. The Black Principal had to lock them in the office and refused to let Immigration have the children and called the parents.
@Her Story I read what you stated about Latinos who “want to be white so bad”, and responded to it. A lot of them *_are_* white, in the exact same (class) sense as anyone that you would agreeably consider to be “white”. All skinfolk ain’t *_kinfolk_* is EXACTLY RIGHT. Now apply that to your concerns about “brown” people who consider themselves to be white and just let them *_be_* white. Then recognize how easily these “white” people can be just as bigoted and/or outright racist as any other. Then notice that you’re much less blindsided or confused when these “white” people throw a monkey wrench in the polls and elections. *_Neither_* party targeted that demographic *_realistically._* They should have been approached with the same messaging aimed at black Trump supporters, instead of assuming that the LatinX demographic just doesn’t have “that problem”, because we didn’t see them with signs and MAGA hats at the rallies. If they do not collectively see themselves as “people of color”, you better believe them when they *_show_* you the proof during elections.
@Valencia Mcneill That is the thing you see them in Florida. Especially if they go to the Catholic Church their ideology is set by their priest. I live in Florida during the 2016 election nothing but Trump signs. The Latino guy across the street from me had 4 in his yard. he went so far as to tell me that I should probably remove my Hillary sign. I told him to mind his own business, and stay out of my yard. The Malignant predator occupying the WH has a record of 26-legal cases for sexual assault, which includes a 13-year girl. Make that 27 after the latest Federal Court ruling preventing the DOJ from representing him in his latest sexual scandal related lawsuit. When someone posts a comment contradicting facts that are easily verifiable through the Courts Public Records, you know that you are dealing with a troll or a very disturb individual. For many Americans, democracy isn’t as important as living in an officially Christian, anti-abortion country. I read years ago that Putin is actually popular among many of them due to his embrace of the conservative Russian Orthodox Church, for example his criminalizing of homosexuality. Biden may have chosen not to defend well against the “socialist tool” allegation out of fear that defending would cost him more votes of progressives in other battleground states than it would gain from voters who have been duped by Fox News and Trump into believing Biden would be a socialist tool.

ANSWER THIS: I am 70 years old, have my MA, have my medicare, have my social security, and own my own home. For years, for others’ rights: I marched during my college days for civil rights, Vietnam, and other causes which had nothing to do with me. As recently as a year ago, I marched to Rubio’s office to protest Trump’s policies, gave money to several women’s marches, BLM, etc. If people elect Trump again, this says to me that while I fight for them, they will not fight for themselves–in fact, they will fight AGAINST themselves. The ages 20, 30, 40, 50 year olds rely on their family history and whatever is taught in school.
The idea of “that was then not now” is what they know. If they don’t see it or feel it, it won’t happen to them.
It is a shame that the progress from 1950 can be wiped away by 1 election and continue by a 2nd and perhaps by many more to come.
I guess there are more old way of life ideologies and rich folks that don’t want anything to change that affects them.

In Florida the sheriffs are already explaining that they have escorted millions of illegal immigrants to voting booths for Trump in an attempt to get back door citizenship like Melania’s parents. Illegals are using dead voter information to cast votes for Trump in Florida. Recount the vote. The Latino vote isn’t voting for Trump because they’re afraid of socialism, they’re voting for Trump because they’re afraid he will send them back!
